Got the Winter Blues??

This winter has been full of snow, ice and cold tempertures.  I don't know about you but I'm kind of getting sick of it now that the holidays are over.

So now would be the perfect time to start planning for Spring.  Whether you want to plant a vegetable, herb, or flower garden, you can do all your planning now. 

Figure out what vegetables or herbs you use on a regular basis.  Then decide if I plant them in containers will I get enough to get me through the winter or do I need to find a small corner of my yard to plant them. Most vegetables and herbs can be frozen after they ripen with little effort.  So plan for the entire year ...not just the summer months. 

When planning my flower gardens, I look at idea books or gardening websites.  Looking at what is new and figuring out which ones will look good in my yard is always a fun way to spend a deary winter day.

So starting planning.  It will be spring before you know it !
