Recipe of the Month

July and August are full of an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.  All our veggies are grown here and picked fresh!  So why not make the ultimate veggie tray with fresh guacamole for a dipping sauce instead of ranch dressing.  Delicious!

Ashley’s Guacamole

1  Avocado- smashed

½  Lime – squeezed

1 Garlic Clove – finely chopped

½  Tomato – chopped

1  Jalapeño – chopped.  The seeds can be removed for less heat

A pinch of salt

Mix the first 6 ingredients together in a bowl.  Best if eaten immediately.  Otherwise place saran wrap directly on the guacamole to keep the avocado from turning black after being exposed to air & refrigerate. Enjoy!!
